Color Cameras
The color cameras include Digital Signal Processing (DSP) and Electronic Shutter (ES) technologies, developed by Sony® to compensate for bright areas and dark areas in the same field of view. This will give you better "depth" and more definition then standard cameras. The cameras will be in "sync" to eliminate jumping when switching from one camera to the next. Our trained technicians will position each camera for optimum performance.

Lenses
All cameras will receive lenses to suit, for the best possible field of view. All lenses are auto iris and are completely adjustable.

VCR
The VCR is a 24 hour "real time" recorder that will record 24 frames per second for 24 hours on a single video cassette. This means that you will get real time recording speed and the benefit of changing the tape only once every twenty-four hours. The deck also has built in time / date generator, repeat record, and is self cleaning.

Digital Recorder
Get all of the benefits of digital including, higher resolution, instant playback, remote access, higher level of reliability, export tools, motion only recording, high-resolution hard copy (send to any network or local printer) and NO TAPES TO CHANGE. This option includes meetings with the "Information Systems" dept to gain approval and to establish programming parameters.

Lock Box
VSI recommends that the recorder should be installed inside a locked enclosure. If this is too costly, then at the very least, the VCR should be in an inconspicuous location, out of plain site, and a dummy VCR should be out in the open. In the event of a burglary or a hold up, the perpetrators will frequently look for a VCR, and remove or destroy any evidence against them.

Owner maintenance: due to the physical properties of video monitors you should expect to have to clean them more often than most pieces of equipment. This is due to the ionic charge that the video screen maintains, which attracts dust and other particulate matter. The only other maintenance issue you will need to take care of is changing the tapes. VSI recommends that tapes are changed at the beginning of each business day. Programming the VCR for optimum performance will be done by our technicians.

Our pro packages are "turn key"; there is nothing else to buy. The packages include all wire runs, conduit, wire mold, lifts and ladders for a complete installation. Also included in our packages is unlimited training, service, and a library of tapes (VCR based system only).
